Styletread.com.au and styletread.com.nz are websites owned by Styletread Pty Ltd (ABN 24 145 771 982) ("Licensor").
The Licensor grants Australian Footwear Pty Ltd (ABN 40 168 259 210) ("Licensee") to operate the website and trade as Styletread. Both Licensor and Licensee are subsidiaries within Munro Footwear Group Pty Ltd (ABN 59 614 250 501) known together with its directors, employees and agents as "We", "Our" or "Us". Your access and use of this website is conditional upon your acceptance and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. Your use of and continued access to this website constitutes your agreement to these Terms and Conditions. Acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions binds you and all of your employees, officers and agents to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Without implying any licence to do so, if you pass on any information contained in the web site to any other person, you should pass on these Terms and Conditions also and draw it to their attention.
You can browse, select and place orders for products available for purchase online.

Use of the Styletread Website is subject to acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Every effort has been made to ensure the information contained on the Website is correct, however Styletread makes no warranty as to the accuracy, comprehensiveness, or correctness of any products on the Website, and provides all products on an "as is" basis.

Styletread, including our partners, directors, officers, shareholders, employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties associated with running the Website, to the maximum extent permitted by law, disclaim all liability and responsibility for any loss or damage that might be suffered by you or any third party caused by the Website or the products sold on it INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OR DAMAGE SUFFERED AS A RESULT OF NEGLIGENCE.

In order to purchase products from the Website, you will need to create a Styletread account prior to making a purchase.  You must also create a Styletread account to engage with the Styletread community to make comments on our Website.

As an account holder you are required to provide Styletread with accurate personal information including a valid email address. Provision of another person’s details as your own will not be deemed acceptable.

As an aide to fraud prevention we may require proof of identification of the cardholder prior to releasing the order.

Any personal information collected by Styletread shall not be disclosed to any third party unrelated to Styletread’s business unless such a disclosure is authorised or required by law, or you have expressly consented to such a disclosure. Styletread otherwise relies on its Privacy Policy.

Credit card information collected for the purpose of payment of products purchased at Styletread will be stored securely using a PCI DSS compliant solution.

Credit card information will be masked on your account and will not be visible to Styletread Customer Service operators.

Provision of credit card information as payment for the product/s constitutes an agreement for your purchase of the selected product/s.

You must not pay or attempt to pay for product/s using fraudulent credit card information.

If you create an account with Styletread you will be required to provide a password. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your password.

Each time you use the password, you will be deemed to be authorised to access and use the Website in a manner consistent with these Terms & Conditions. This means that you are responsible for any products purchased using your account details.

You must notify Styletread if at any time you believe someone has access to your password.

You may post reviews and make comments on the content on our Website. The content however must not be illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, infringing of intellectual property rights, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable to third parties and is not permitted to consist of or contain software viruses, commercial solicitation, mass mailings, or any form of "spam." Styletread reserves the right to remove such content at any time, and without notice to you.

If you post content, and unless we indicate otherwise, you grant Styletread a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display such content on its Website and on any other marketing material Styletread may create.

If you opt out of the Post a review email it will unsubscribe you from those communications only.The user will still get the promotional emails if subscribed but will not get the review email for the purchased product.

For customers within Australia, all prices are listed in Australian Dollars and include GST.

For New Zealand customers, prices are listed in New Zealand dollars. From 1 December 2019, we will collect GST of 15% on orders to New Zealand due to government policy changes. More information can be found on the New Zealand government customs pages.

All prices are subject to change. All prices displayed on this Website are only valid online at the time shown.

Styletread attempts to present the availability of stock accurately however stock availability constantly varies and is only valid at the time shown.

If an ordered item isn't available or we are unable to fulfill your order we may attempt to arrange an alternative item or will provide a full refund.

Once you have placed your order, Styletread are unable to cancel, add, remove or make changes to your order including your delivery details, items, colours, sizes or removing the items from your order.

Styletread also reserves the right to cancel your order if:

• You provide an unauthorised credit card
• We are unable to process payment on the credit card provided
• You provide invalid personal details
• If, when required, you cannot provide acceptable proof of identity
• The product has become unavailable
• If, for any reason, we don't reasonably believe we can successfully complete delivery

Styletread will attempt to notify you before cancelling your order.

If you breach these terms and conditions, Styletread reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time without prior notice to you. If your account is suspended or terminated, you will not be able to access the Website.

If you are awaiting delivery of products, Styletread reserves the right to cancel your order. A refund may be issued to the credit card provided during the purchase process.

Styletread offers a 30-Day Free Return Policy. This policy includes rights you are entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are not liable for the postage cost of returning products purchased if returning the products from within Australia or New Zealand via Styletread's nominated courier service, provided your order qualifies for our return policy.

For returns from countries other than Australia and New Zealand, of shoes purchased at Styletread, the cost of shipping must be paid in full by you prior to acceptance by Styletread.

If the product is faulty when you receive it you may choose to return the product to Styletread for a full refund. Faults will be assessed by our Customer Service Centre and we may also consult with the supplier or manufacturer. If the product is found to be faulty you will receive a full refund.

Refunds will only be issued in accordance with our returns policy and will only be made to the original account used for payment. In some limited circumstances we may make a refund to an alternate account if the original has been cancelled or is not available.

Styletread will not consider requests for refunds after 30 days of purchase unless the product is deemed faulty by our Customer Service operator.

If any items are not eligible for a refund we will contact you and return those items to you at your cost. These items will incur a postage charge - $10 for Australian returns and $15 for New Zealand returns. All efforts will be made to contact you, however, if we do not hear from you within 30 days we reserve the right to dispose of your items.

If you used a voucher with a minimum spend on an order and wish to return one of the items in that order please note the following:

• Should the return of an item cause the total value of the non-returned items to be less than the minimum spend of the voucher, you will receive a refund for the item value less the voucher amount. This is because the voucher is no longer eligible to be used on the order as it does not meet the minimum spend requirement.
• Should the total value of the non-returned items be greater than the minimum spend, the voucher will be applied to the remaining total value of the order and you will receive a refund for the item/s returned.

For special promotions such as "Buy 2 Get 1 Free", please note the following if you wish to return one of the items from the offer:

• You will receive a refund for the value of the returned item less the value of the lowest priced pair. This is because the total order no longer qualifies for the "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" offer.

23.   The winner of the prize must take the prize as described and, on the conditions, stated in these Terms, and the prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

24.   Munro Footwear Group (Styletread) reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Terms.

“WIN $1,000 WORTH OF STYLETREAD SHOES – DJANGO & JULIETTE 21ST BIRTHDAY” COMPETITION

The competition is being conducted by: Styletread Pty Ltd (ABN 24 145 771 982). Styletread is a subsidiary of Munro Footwear Group Pty Ltd (ACN 614 250 501). The abovementioned company will be hereafter referred to as the ‘Promoter’.
By entering the Promotion, each entrant accepts these Terms and agrees that the Promotion will be conducted in accordance with, and the entrants’ rights will be governed by these terms:

1.       The promotional period of 5 pm Monday 4th September – 4 pm Monday 11th September AEST. Entry is free and is open to residents of Australia over the age of 18, who enter the Promotion in accordance with the conditions of entry below.

3.       Employees of the Promoter or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition. 

4.       To enter the competition the entrant must:

 - Sign up to email database by submitting all required fields on the instant form through social sponsored ads

5.       Closing date for entry will be 4 pm (AEST) Monday 11th September 2023. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted. 

6.       No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. 

7.       The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter. 

8.       There will be one (1) winner drawn. The prize for the competition winner consists of their choice of shoes on Styletread.com.au to the value of $1,000. The prize is not transferable and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

10.   Prize is subject to availability and must be stocked on styletread.com.au at the time of selection

11.   Any residual value at the end of the winner’s transaction will be forfeit and will not be provided in cash or cash alternative.

12.   The prize must be taken within 30 days of the winner confirming their receipt of the prize for the competition or the prize will be forfeit.

13.   Winner will be drawn at random at 28 Victoria Cres, Abbotsford VIC on Monday 11th September 2023 at 4:30 pm AEST. 

14.   The winner will be notified by email on Tuesday 12th September 2023 at 10 am AEST

15.   If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 

16.   The Promoter will notify the winner when and how the prize can be redeemed in conjunction with the outlined terms and conditions. 

17.   The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

18.   By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her acceptance and agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

19.   The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia. 

20.   The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. 

21.   The winner’s first name and first initial of surname may be published on our Instagram account. 

22.   This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to any other party.

Styletread gift cards are sent via email directly to the chosen recipient email address provided by the buyer during the purchasing process. Gift cards should be treated as cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Once the gift card is received in recipient’s inbox, it is deemed activated and may be redeemed for purchases on the Styletread website in the market where it is originally purchased (e.g., gift card issued in Australian dollars are redeemable only on the Australian website). Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash and no change will be given. Gift cards cannot be reloaded with additional funds. Once the initial value is depleted, the card can no longer be used for transactions. Any balance remaining on the gift card after expiry date will not be available for use. Gift cards expire 36 months from date of activation (date gift card is received via email). The expiry date is prominently displayed on the email originally received. A gift card cannot be purchased using a buy now pay later service such as PayPal and AfterPay, nor can a gift card be used as a payment method to purchase a gift card. The gift card must be loaded with a minimum $10 value and cannot exceed a maximum $500 value. The cardholder can check the remaining balance on their gift card by visiting our website. All purchases (part or whole) paid with a gift card will be refunded back to a gift card as the original payment method.
